Wasn't sure it would be cool to post the direct links here yet, more of a heads up that it should be out soon.

While the HD site has not been officially updated you can find the new update with a little snooping. I saw it posted on another site, I have the 4.3 radio version, file date is May 8 on the .iso file and May 18 on the text file. All 3 versions are there, 4.3, 6.5, and CVO 6.5

I'm still hesitant to update my radio with this as it hasn't been made official on the site so this may not be the finished file, and more importantly because there's the potential for it to mess up my radio flash (see the sticky in the audio section) which I don't want to pay 40 bucks again to have someone click a couple buttons on a computer.

Remember.. if you have a FLASH for aftermarket audio... I would be hesitant.... this is for everybody with a FLASH for audio ( aftermarket systems)

What is it supposed to even change this time? All the updates I've ever seen before focused on the 6.5 screens, and never mentioned a damn thing about the 4.3's... I probably won't update mine anyway unless something major is in the pipe.

If it ain't broke-don't fix it. Personally I haven't seen any of the firmware upgrades do much of anything. I'll stick with what I have.

Aw come on now Mojo, the last update did something......it made the AVC stop working and gave us intermittent pauses ;)

On a serious note, some are saying that those 2 issues have been fixed, I'm still taking the wait and see approach.

Change Log:
- Added capability to view information about a point of Interest,
H-D dealership, recent destination, saved destination, home, or
XM fuel price station while in a current route.
- Added capability to cancel "Next Waypoint" (Finally!)
- Increased waypoints to 100 (Yeaaa!)
- Fixed automatic screen brightness
- Fixed map zoom level
- Performance and stability enhancements (what the heck does this mean??)

Ha Ha, so the glass REALLY is half full>

Has anyone had a problem with their 4.3 system not recognizing the new software version on the memory drive? I followed the HD site directions and hookup to the system as I have for previous downloads and when I put the USB the system doesn't see the new version.

Any help out there would be appreciated. Thanks.

First couple tries I had an issue with software not being recognized so I just downloaded it again, unzipped, put the .iso on the USB drive and then it worked fine.

Thanks msquad!

I will try the "unzipped" method.

I got my system to recognize the new version I save on my USB memory drive. Download was successful.

Now my issue is, and I think I have seen others who have the same, cannot fast-forward past a track on the USB? Do I have to wait for another update?????

Well, once loaded did it transform all of our gripes and wishes into something wonderful???

Your radio may have reset back to default settings. Check your settings.

Also- make sure in your Boom Box settings you have Seek selected and not Scan, this will allow you to control playlist and scrub thru a song from left toggle switch.

Thanks to you and iamwill I will be checking this tonight. Could this have happened if the system reset itself to factory default?

Absolutely. I've had to do a factory reset on my radio once, and had to redo EVERYTHING. Radio presets, seek and scan settings for USB, EQ, etc.
