Cat?

So can anyone confirm where the catalytic converter is? All I read is the they "moved the cat back" to get the heat farther from the rider/passenger. I can confirm this M-8 engine is cooler than my 103", but I'd like to know where the cat is? It seems it has to be in the crossover, otherwise they'd need 2 cats if it were in the head pipes or the slip ons?

You bring up good point. I looked at one today, only on the right side and it appeared to be in front of the slip on. However, I didn't look at the opposite side and didn't consider the cross over tube either. Good question.

It's on the right side just upstream of the crossover pipe connection.
