I noticed an interesting "anomaly" with my 2019 Canadian FLHX.
On your Boom Box "Engine Info" screen it gives you the "Distance Since Serviced"
Being Canadian, I have my Odometer and GPS "speed" set to read in Metric, NOT Imperial.
Even though the screen reads "Kms" it actually records this distance in MILES!
You can switch the GPS to read in Imperial, NOT Metric, and it will say it is in "miles". Switch it back to Metric, and it will "say" it's registering kms, BUT, it still records it all in MILES!
I brought this to the attention of the Service department when I brought my bike in for the 1600 km first inspection. The bike odometer read 1600 kms and the Distance Since Service read 1000 KMS. I thought that maybe I had inadvertently reset it myself, so I ignored it.
Riding home from the dealership, it over 100 kms. The Distance Since Service recorded the trip as only 68.9772 KMS. Thats correct, and accurate if it said MILES, but ir very clearly says KMS.
Obviously this is a programming error with the Boom Box.
I wonder if Harley will correct this????
At least in the interim I know that my speedo is recording in Kms, and that even though the Distance Since Service says it's in Kms, it's REALLY reading miles!
F*ck that's gonna be confusing
