I have owned many metrics in the past. As a matter of fact I still have my 06 vtx1300r (Ruth) because it has been such a good bike that I just cant bring myself to let her go. Most recently though, I traded my Indian Scout Bobber for a ''new to me'' 2016 FLHX (Ethel) and have not looked back! the HD is like butta!! I love her so... any questions you have, just PM me. Im glad to help

From a 2002 Road King (FLHR) to a 2015 Street Glide (FHLX).

Loved my Road King, but the Street Glide is smoother, more powerful, and more comfortable.

I can't say that I went from a KTM 1290 Super Adventure Touring to a Street Glide Special as the KTM is still in the garage and will remain with me forever. Two completely horses with two widely different functions. But I did finally buy a Street Glide so that the wife can go riding with me, and to tell the truth I've always wanted one. Couldn't be happier with the current status of my stable.

If I could figure out how to post pics I would. Trying to post pics from my file and I just won't do it.

Last bike was a 2005 Low Rider. Bought a 2019 Midnight Blue Street Glide after taking a few years off from riding. Loving it

I moved to live in Thailand and Is been a long list: Start with R ninet --> R1200gsa 16 LC--> Burgman 650 --> Yamaha super tenere 1200 --> R1200Gsa LC 20 again --> K1600 Grand America ---> R18 Classic.. I found R18 classic is rather boring so I end up trade it for Street glide special. I was hesitating between Road glide and street glide .. but end up choosing street glide cuz is more classic, and I like the SG handle bar position better. Wasn't sure about the wind buffeting from Street glide.

1978 Super Glide FX to today's 2015 FLHXS

Speaking of my first Harley, she was a box-stock 1978 Super Glide that I: added 16" apes; 4" risers; 'homemade' wide glide-style triple tree; removed front brake assembly for less cabling on the bars; replaced SG tank with split 5 gallon; Cobra Python pipes; and I forget what all else but she was my kick-starting-only beast from 1983 to 1993 and is one that I still SOMETIMES miss very much.

If I can figure out to get a picture uploaded (attempt fails every time I try), you'll see a selfie made while I was waiting to cross into Canada (and be inspected) in 1989 at the Pigeon River, MN border crossing. I made it though just fine and partied hard in Thunder Bay, Ontario for a few days afterwards...
