Good morning everyone from beautiful Lake Havasu City, AZ
I've been AWOL for a while from riding as well as the forum but decided yesterday that I need to get back to both.
Spent the afternoon installing the last of the "Goodies" I bought around the first of the year, V&H Power Duals, SE High FLow A/C, Softbrake pedal, Kuryakyn Floor board extender/re-locaters and the Pièce De Résistance was to finally get the FP3 installed.
Wow what a difference on the short ride home from my friends house last night (he has a nice lift for working on the bike ), I'm looking forward to getting it on the road for a long ride/auto tune next week, Woo Hoo!!
BTW I already had the SE Power Canons on the stock head pipe but now they really "Bark" and the throttle response seems to be better.....I'll have a better feel after a bit of a ride....................Oh yeah I can't believe how much more usable the rear brakes are now with the lower pedal position.....I was so frustrated with how high I had to raise my boot to use the rear brakes with the stock pedal that I was actually just using the front brakes and letting the proportioning take over......now I can much more comfortably (and safely IMO) use the brake pedal just like on my 03 RKC.
Hope you all have a great day.......BTW it's gonna be 85 degrees here today and I think I'll take the bike out this afternoon after I get off work
