Don’t trade!

Looks like there were 2 other people at the Indian dealership. I found their engines to be too hot and lacking in torque.

Unfortunatly the owner of that dealership as well as the H-D, BMW, Triumph, Honda, Kawi, Suzuki, and Yamaha, all owned by the same person has virtually no customer service. You may be able to buy the bike if you can find a salesman and get them off their cell phone to talk with you. I went to the H-D store and after 15 minutes finally had a salesman speak to me. He answered my questions, took my name, phone number, and email address. Never asked me if I wanted to buy. A month later I received an email telling me the Indian demo truck was coming and if I tested one I could get a free shirt. Never went back.

The Indian dealership closest to me is like a ghost town, other than people there buying side by sides and dirtbikes. Indian is not my cup of tea but It's your money and if you like it better than your current ride then go for it. What are the reasons your looking for a new bike? Have you done any mods on your bike to fix any issues you have with or just got the itch for something different? If I remember your video when you rode the white road glide you really seemed to like that bike too. How does that compare to the Indian in particular the new M8 vs the 111?

It was a nice bike, but it just seemed to lack something? It has more stuff and more power, but even after hoping on my old Streetie I quickly forgot about the Indian. Dont get me wrong it was really nice.but the Harley seems to have something about it that I like better. I cant really explain it.

I'll help you out......Harley Davidson badge on the side of it.

I just bought my '18 FLHXS and I did check out the Indian bikes. While I thought they were nice, it was missing something intangible. It's the history or something like that. Again, it's intangible for me when I try to describe the bikes, differences, and similarities....

I also looked at the Yamaha Eluder but again, it's just missing something. I think when I look at a Harley there is the history behind it... Again, intangible....

I went to do a test ride on the same model and I was totally turned off by it.....I like a lot of the options it offers but for 111 cu in motor it doesn't have it.....one of the guy that was leading the ride bashing Harley so bad saying "once you are on these Indians you'll trade your Harley's in right away, Harley's have no power".....when I got back from testing one, sales guy approached me and ask me what I thought about the bike and I told him the truth. Oh boy he couldn't believe what he heard from me. I told them when I leave here on my Harley listen to a real bike and I left. Indian bikes are good for those that just want to ride and don't care about performance but I hate the way they hype stuff on how Indian motor are much more superior and much more power than Harley is just plain Full of it. The bottom line, it's not for me. I am not a Harley fanboy, but Indian just doesn't have performance in their mind when they build their bikes.....I think their Dark Horse model may be the only one with higher performance motor.
