HD Bike to bike Communications

I just added the HD CB radio and antenna to my '16 FLHXS. The dealer will be adding the new backlit switch pack with the PTT button tomorrow.

My 6.5 Boombox indicates that it recognizes the cb. Does it still require a dealer flash of the radio?
