Inner primary leak

I only have 5k miles on my 2015 Streetglide, and after an oil change at the dealer, I was told it appears there is a leak in my inner primary. Seems awful early for such an issue. Is this a thing with streetglides in general? Any danger in riding a few hundred miles before coughing up the $600 to fix it?

It seems very early for that sort of issue. It might be worth contacting HD to see if they’ll make a contribution to the cost. You can’t hurt anything by asking...

This video might be of interest in terms of finding out where the leak is coming from (shops have been wrong before):

Any other help or advice for the OP? I wasn't able to answer his specific question.

Did they mention where the oil was leaking from?

I just noticed this thread. I have a 2015 FLHXS that had an oil leak between the Primary and Engine. I had a little over a quart of oil move from the engine into the Primary through the seal. Apparently it happens sometimes, but isn't real common. My bike has 81K miles on it.
