I have a 16 street glide special. I wanted more room. So, I first did the Kurakyan floorboard extensions which is unbelievable how 1 inch out and forward made such a difference. I then got the DDL Lepera Maverick in which thought I would like because I always felt crunched up to tank. However they were great for the leg positioning I felt like I was pulling to far for the handlebars. I hear that most people like this that are over 6' and I am 5'10". Maybe I have short arms? Anyway sent seat back and got the Lepera maverick regular seat. I like it. So far have not rode very far so I will keep posted. I think that the driver will be slightly better but the passenger much better than stock. This was my main reason on purchasing this. Third now are the 10" Twin Peaks. Arms comfortable straight but pull when turning. Love the feel and looks but have not been able to ride since the cold weather in MN. Anyway very excited to get out some.

Coffeerider,
Sounds like your getting that bike dialed in. I agree that us Minnesota folks are chomping at the bit this time of year. Couple more days and we will rolling, although it is snowing here as I type. AWK

Makes sense you felt crunched over the tank and needed longer bars. Those of us that are taller than you tend to also have longer arms, and so we can sit back from the tank more and still reach the bars. Now, having to move the boards forward for your height doesn't make a lot of sense, but who knows. You could have super long legs for your height. That, or you have KISS platform riding boots Lmao
