I'm not sure... how many waypoints did you plan? I think the limit is 6....not sure if that would have anything to do with it, but it could... it's possible.

I have not uploaded any route data since May when Mojo flew out.... did you use the HD Planner online? Any issues with that when creating the route?

Is the flash drive clean except for THAT file? This has been known to cause issues... also... try another flash drive if you have one. I have had three get flakey on me on the sled... but they work fine on my laptop.

I read 9 waypoints was the limit. I will try only selecting 6 and see what happens. There is nothing else on the flash drive. I did used HD ride planner.

No dice. Maybe I should have thought about this before last night LOL

Nothing to make your morning like a pre-ride scramble just before you leave... Have a good ride and be safe! No rain here yet... but it's 80%... still gonna head down to Street Vibes to end my vacation on a good note.....

Have fun on your ride. Sometimes just winging it becomes a better ride. But on the other hand I always carry a laminated paper map too. Makes you stop once in a while for a rest and maybe let the passengers use the outhouse.

I hear from many there ARE issues with Ride Planner. I still use my tried and trusted GPX app Drive on my iPhone. One of the most frustrating things for me on the Boom Nav system is how terribly crude it is considering today's technology. I've seriously considered adhesive backed velcro on my Boom Screen and sticking my iPad Mini on there and using Google Maps. At least you can pinch to a landscape or finger zoom selected points. With Bluetooth headphones I can hear the voice commands as well.

Hey all the Nav companies need to step it up. No reason for the crappie looking Nav screens when every body has a phone with Google Maps. A little integration would be nice.

Agreed- Once you've used the "Smart devices" Nav systems, it makes me wonder why the Boom Nav isn't getting better with the firmware upgrades. Another pet peeve for me is Ride Planner "non" integration with the USB port.
