Largest front rim and tire size for 2016 SG with stock fender

HI,

I want to change my front rim and tire on my 2016 SG special. What is the largest rim and tire size I can have without replacing the stock fender? I dont mind adjusting the fender but just don't want to replace it.

I have a 14 SG, and I went with a 21” with the CVO Dunlop front tire (only mention it because it’s a fatter/thicker tire). I had to use the fender risers, and it fit perfectly. I’d imagine anything larger than a 21, you will run into clearance problems, even with the thinnest of tires.

21 inch is biggest you'll get on with a slight modification to fender to raise the front so heat from tire doesn't burn paint.

To go bigger then a 21 on the front you will have to install a rake kit. I think 23 is the next size up.
