Motorcycle lift

I've had a Craftsman red & black lift for about 15 years, I think I paid about $80 for it at the time. It's ok, maybe a little narrow as the bike kind of "see-saws" on it. A lot of people like the J&S lift but its over $400. It looks like its wider, therefore "see-saws" less.

I picked this one up from harbor for about $80 with the coupon. It's nearly identical to the one HD sells for $300. It works well for me.

For sure thanks guys I was thinking about getting the harbor freight lift for 324 with the coupon but I wasn't sure how good it actually was.

I LOVE my J&S jack. Pricier, but I feel secure lifting a $25k bike that doesn't feel like it's going to wobble over by accident.

In my opinion you first need to ask your self what do you need the lift for. If you will only be using the lift for small thing then a lift like the craftsman jack is fine, but if you will be do custom work then you should get a lift table. I have both and I prefer the table it makes everything so much easier to do.

+1 on J&S, I wouldn't have any other.

I have been using the lift table from harbor freight for 3 years now with no problems. I did buy a wheel vise for it because the one that comes with the table is useless and I would not trust it to hold a bicycle up. The lift table is very nice when doing oil changes. If you buy the lift table make sure to check the oil in the cylinder before you use it. I have heard of some people getting them with not enough oil in cylinder.

+1 on J&S, they do have discounts from time to time. I trust it when I take either tire off. Yes it does cost more, but I only have to buy a lift one time.

Depends on if you have the room for it also. Though I would love to have a table, I don't have the room in my garage. I have a newer Craftsman jack. I think I gave about $250 for it. I had a scissor jack before but the bike was too unstable on it due to its small footprint.

Yes I was looking into getting the one from harbor freight because of the price. Where did you get the vice from?

I bought the Pitbull. Maybe more expensive, but it is very well made.

I have this same jack and have used on my my bikes for last 8 years never had an issue. From Dynas, to Softails, Street Glides, Tri Glide this lift will pick it up.

I got a good price on it. A guy bought it at a big garage auction and had no use for it as his long ass chopper would not fit on it. I have about a grand tied up in it. It was new and never had a bike on it . My John Deer tractor fits on it too.

I will be the third that has this jack. Works good for my bikes and atvs plus nice to be able to throw in the truck instead of using a milk crate like I used to when I am out on the quads.

I had the HF table with a wheel chok bolted to the front. Worked like a charm. Forgot what I paid but i know it was less than 300 with a coupon. But if you dont really need a table they can be in the way more than anything.

I have one of these to just stand the bike up with doing simple stuff. Its wider than the normal jacks. Very stable. Thinking of buying another one so that I want have to keep moving the one jack to get under the bike to drain the fluids.
