My new instrument panel

I will answer that question for you yes I have to duck down a little to see the top of the gauges. Have had a lot of compliments and I see others adding this to their sleds. I sit pretty tall in the saddle at 6-1 so go figure.

Mojo, when you installed the inner fairing trim kit did you feel like the upper portion of the chrome trim interfered with seeing the top of the gauges?

Not at all, in fact I was concerned about just that knowing I could remove them if they did. Everything worked OK. If you're worried about that happening, HD now offers just the trim plate in engine turned or carbon fiber design (cheaper too!).

Thx Tom A and Mojo. I am 5'7" so I am lower in the saddle. I ask because I saw some remarks on the HD website for that product and those who installed the trim rings said the mod did impede their vision.

No I would like the chrome bezels and the carbon fiber pattern on the gauge trim plate. It looks like it would be more expensive to order the gauge kit and the additional CF trim plate through HD as opposed to just the gauge kit from HD and then some CF covering and primer of ebay.

I'm 5"8.5 and they didn't bother me at all - - - good luck with your choice

Do you cover the stock chrome bezels that are on the SGS with this kit? Are the chrome bezels that are stock the stick on kind? I would like to them gloss black not chrome. I see HD has the black covers but they are $200.00 and that is way too much.
