I also got mine in Sept. and have yet to do any updates. Just not high on my list of things to do.

Gosh guys ! I've never experienced any of these problems with my Boom Box. It performs as abnormal as ever.

I went to my Mom's house and visited my bike and did the flash also. Seemed fine. Only problem I had was I forgot I had the speakers set to headset mode for the last time I rode. Set them back to speaker out and the volume was SO LOUD! Nearly crapped my pants! LOL

I looked at the software that was on mine and I still had the 1.17.1 after i zipped the new software on the stick I plugged it into the bike and it telling me no playable media found. any ideas??

Yes...

First... have a clean flash drive

Second extract ONLY the iso file from the zip file to the flash drive.

Third. .. plug it in and turn to ACC

I never use the HD Waypoints anyway, I can get there much faster with my iPhone GPS channeled thru my BT earbuds!

In my USB there are maps after unzipping the iso file The Harley does not update, what am I doing wrong? The HD site says to put in the USB after the ACC switch. Here first USB and then ACC. What did you guys do?

Did the boom box 6,5 download. Are you guys talking about the 4.3 boombox update? or also about the 6.5?
