Octane?

Dealer says to use 93 but manual states minimum of 91. What are you guys running? Does the bike indeed need 93? I've read on other forums that anything higher than what the manufacturer recommends is a waste.

Some places only have 91available that's why they manuels all say 91 minimum...I never see 91 in my area

a lot of stations I go to only have 91. Seems to run fine.

Personally, I think 93 is a waste. Mine runs just great on 91 octane.

I've accidentally run it with 87 octane in a tank and it ran fine....though I have always run it with premium...whatever that octane is...91 or 93.
