Oil Coolers

I don't but would like the pros and cons of adding. When I purchase a toy I typically keep it for years so I would like my Glide running the same 10 years from now.

Twin Jagg Oil Coolers

I was wondering how many of you run an oil cooler on your SG?

After hearing and reading about some very negative feedback about the 110 SE engines and overheating I had some concerns about my own ’12 FLHX that I did the 120R swap to.
Here’s my own experience and what I did…..
I put two Jagg 10 row fan assist coolers on mine. The primary cooler that is mounted where the HD cooler was has the 180ºF thermostat. The secondary vertical cooler has the 190ºF thermostat connected to it.
I also added the Baker +1.5 oil pan. When I finally got just over 1,000 miles on the 120R I switched over to all Amsoil fluids. I've got about 4,000 miles on now and never a problem.

Now running in rush hour city traffic, when I was in Sturgis last month and quite a few times in 95ºF degree weather I’ve never been over 230ºF maximum, and when I can get rolling on the freeways (still heavy traffic), I’m usually around 180ºF.
I have also installed the Lenale Parade Fan. I have used it a couple of times but probably was allright without it. .
I have both the dipstick oil temperature gauge and the fairing mounted gauge for comparison purposes.
All turned out good. So yeah do the oil cooler thing, especially with the big inch TC's and if you plan stuff like high compression & cams etc.
