OK this has been an on going problem with my Rockford punch amp. The Input and output connectors to the amp are coming loose causing either speaker loss or intermittent sound. I just spent an hour trying to shim the plugs but it hasn't made any progress.
What can I do to tighten up these connectors? If there's no good way to tighten it up, I'm really considering a new amp. I am even considering just pulling the amp while I figure out how to fix it. I'd previously had problems with a loose Rca connector and even had to replace the oem style right side male speaker connector (which feeds to my line leveler).
Here's a pic of the wire connectors. Any brilliant ideas or even a good amp (preferably under $300 for a 2 channel around 200w) to consider will be accepted. I'm ready to cut off every connector I can and solder them just to eliminate future problems!
