I'm looking to see if anyone has had this problem, I put HD rear saddle bag speakers on my 14 Street glide I also installed a J&M Perf Series 4-CH 360w Amp.

The left rear speaker Blew (tested with OHM Meter) so I got it replaced and installed it, worked fine for a few weeks and now its Blown again. Has anyone had this happen or know what may be causing the problem I don't want to replace the speaker to have it happen again. Harley will not replace it again. The set up is what I have below.

I'm running two 4 ohm in the Fairing and the standard HD saddlebag (2ohm I believe) speakers in the bags. Everything is wired as it is from the factory. The amp is plug and play.

I emailed J&M early last week but haven't heard anything back yet from them.

Thanks for any help y'all can provide

I checked all the cables, it maybe the amp as you stated.. Hmmmmm

Good luck with trying to find the issue.... Call John at J&M and see if he has a diagnostics to check the amp out without blowing another speaker out.

Well I talked to Jim at J&M said to check the gain on that side of the AMP.. Guess I have to find a replacement speaker now.
