Riding season officially over

we're planning a trip through Death Valley and over to Palm Springs early next month and trust me you wouldn't want to be in either of those places in July or August :D

Yes, I lived in Phoenix for ten years. Summer was as bad as winter in Minneapolis.

Can't ride here right now hoping it warms up just a little and if not I will trailer to Indian springs and jump out ride south. And yes a death valley trip will be on the schedule also.

Woke up to this today just south of Columbus, OH. OMG!

I took my last night ride of the season, I think, last night because tonight we are getting rain and up to 4 inches of snow. The risk of icing at night will be high form thsi time on. Riding season normally ends just after New Year's Day. I hope the "warmth" comes back for that long.

I do feel every one else's pain right now. The bike is covered up for now.

I'm afraid mine is covered up til spring sadly, but on a good note there is enough ice to get out on the lakes ice fishing this weekend!

It's about a 4 hours drive then unload out of the trailer and I'm in riding heaven. When I go down next month I'll send you some pictures Mojo

Just one more reason to live in the south. I ride year round..it gets a little cold, but nothing compared to Minnesota. Rode to work every day this week. Low has been about low 40s for the past few weeks. A couple of days in the 20s last month, but I don't have far to go to work and I will continue to ride until I see ice on the road..Heck, I have not even gotten out the chaps and heated gloves yet.

Took a ride night ride in the cold in honor of those that are not able to ride this time of year. I won;t be able to much longer here in Ohio.

That's OK....I'll carry the baton through the winter and ride for others :D

I would have gone tonight but we are having one of our 10 days a year of rain

Got out for a ride today and got in 86 miles and oh I'm happy. Was only going for about 30 but just couldn't turn around. Low fifties and very refreshing. And yes I almost did the happy dance but that's another story lol.

I rode my 14 FLHXS to work this morning. I start very early in the AM. I left around 4:40 and it was 54 degrees. I came home at 2:30 PM and it was 75 degrees. Beautiful weather for a great ride into work. Atlanta Georgia weather at it's best!

I forgot to put the cover on my bike after riding Wednesday night and woke up to this yesterday morning. I hate winter. Today its raining but I put the cover on last night after a cold afternoon ride to get a haircut. And no that is not my junky car in the picture.

I live in Saskatchewan and was wondering how far south I'd have to haul my bike to where I can unload it and keep heading south for the week of December 14 - 21. Salt lake, St George, mesquite?

Thinking you better go all the way to mesquite because you never know about the weather north of there. Good luck with your ride.
