I have been riding motorcycles for 29 years, and Harleys for 22 years. I had the stock halogen headlight damaged on a ride on Tuesday. The only thing I can gather is the light got really hot, and I was hit by a stone from a vehicle.
However, I have never ever had a headlight break on any vehicle.
I talked to my local HD dealer, and the dual halogen headlight is backordered. My assumption is that I am not the only one with this issue.
So I went with a Hog Works LED.
Do has anyone else experienced this or heard of the headlight breaking?
