I bought a new 2020 Special to replace my 2014 SGS after it was totaled, rear-ended by a fellow on a trike!!! Anyway, hadn't thought about the blacked out version until I couldn't find a used replacement. Now, I'm loving the black, especially not having to polish chrome!!! Not that cold in East TN, but it's been freakin' wet, so been adding stuff in the basement: gloss black lower fairing, new grips, wind deflectors, heat shield, Memphis Shade windshield, blacked shift linkage, blacked headlight, blacked saddle bag latch openers. and had to add the blacked heal shifter.
