Hi, just wondering, I have a 2016 streetglide, and was thinking about my first trip out of state with my bike, my tires are Dunlops, the date says 40/21 should i change them, or are they ok for a while, thanks mike

What does 40/21 thread mean? Look for the 4 digit date code on them, it'll be in an oval shape. If they are the original tires, I would seriously look into getting a new set.

i just meant the date was 40/21, and the tread on the tires looked ok, mike

Tire less than 3 yrs old and plenty of tread, you're good to go for a while longer.
