hello people, new member here. just picked up my 2017 streeter last month.traded in a 08 street that had cams, header and a tuner on it(loved the sound).was just wondering what people were doing to change the sound of theirs. i already bought the rc slip ons and i have the vance and hines power duals on order.the harley store out here is talking to me about the 114 kit with the se8-498 cam. i was thinking more of the torque cam....opinions?

hi i just got mine back from the dealer after getting the stage 4 installed and wow . 4th gear pull is crazy lots more power . still keeping under 4k rpm's to break in the kit . the only thing i'm thinking of getting is the vance & hince power duals

I just dynoed my stage 3 kit with CFR slip one and V&H power dual header got 113TQ and 102HP not bad. But if u wanna go big see Jamie at fuelmoto he just released there 120 m8 kit that is over the 140 TQ and HP. I'm gonna ride this and do that 120 kit next winter. Totally happy with 114 kit and under warranty. Also have SE ventilator ac and there we 498 cam

I am riding a 2017 SG CVO 114" and my buddy has a SGS 107"
He did the power cam ( not the torque cam) and a tuner, I cannot catch him with my 114"

I just did a stage 3 with the torque cam, Rinehart Header and Slip Ons and the HD Elite Intake.

After a 4 hour Dyno run the bike was insane.

Got 113.58 HP and 130.04 Torque.

Meant to state this was a 2017 Road King with Stick 107 before any work. Traded the Road as I decided I wanted the Street Glide Special. I'm at a Stage 1 now and honestly may just go to Stage 2 with the Torque Cam. No need for Stage 3 for my type of riding.

opinions?

I like a bike with a flat torque curve. One that does not get weaker as it builds speed when I pass other vehicles. I do not believe in applying full throttle below 3000 rpm or revving often past 6000 rpm. I do want a cam with good street manners between 2000 and 3000. Here's my bike's dyno run last year (SE 259E cam).
