Vance & Hanes Dresser Duals

I traded in my 08 for a 12. I kepted my Vance & Hanes Dresser Duals off my 08 not realizing at the time that the 12 had a design change. I talked to vance and hanes and they said they would fit but they recommend not running these on the 12 due to the placement of the O2 sensorsand baffles is different.I got the feeling the guy just wanted to sell me new header pipes. Does anybody know if it is ok to run these or better to get new ones.
