What did you do to, or on your streetglide today?

Yesterday was my birthday and my wife got me zombie levers and I got myself a clarity air cleaner.

Installed the Custom Dynamics LED turn signals, red rear, and the white/ yellow fronts with new clear front lenses. That made a difference!

Installed an Evo 2, and blacked out the headlight rings and windshield trim.

Installed Alloy Art fairing brackets. Not a big job just a little time consuming.

To: I installed the Kuryakyn floor board spacers on the right side only. I also installed the brake pedal extender.
On: I took my first major (by my standards) highway trip. I did 100 miles round trip on I-95.

Forgot to post last night. But installed day maker and rear blinkers. Have to go back and get front 1's next week.

So I have the fronts currently and wanted to install the rear but I was told I also need to install a voltage regulator. What's your plan?

PB1 I didn't put a regulator on. My indicator blinks fast but the blinkers work fine

The fast blinking will eventually settle down to normal...they all do that at first.

PB1, I have fronts and rears with no regulator...

I painstakingly detailed my exhaust muffler tips
With Blue Magic metal polish (the cuts are raw aluminum)
Then waxed to remove any from the black and then a coat of Pig Spit to brighten up the black
I noticed a small scuff on the bottom rt tip and a millimeter of gap so I must have dragged that right tip on my last ride
It buffed out and I loosened the Allen, gave it a tap with my palm and tightened it back down
Good as new

Didn't have time to write yesterday. Went on 100+ mile ride, with about 30 other bikes, to escort the Moving Vietnam Veteran's Wall to Bell Buckle, TN for this weekend's activities.

Started at the house and ended up back at the house 290 miles later... Not a bad day- trying to take advantage of the dry roads and over-30 temps.

I'm glad I decided to read through this thread. Lot of good ideas on here. I always relied on the heel shifter because the toe of my boot wouldn't fit under the toe shifter. I never thought about adjusting on the splines. Thanks for the tip!

Been a while since I posted in here. Finally got around to getting and installing bag guards on my bike. uploadfromtaptalk1447369868088.jpg

Left the house at 53 degrees and going into town for the final fill up and gas additive for the winter. Wife came with me so we hit the highway and at every exit she kept waving me to go farther. Hoping to sneak in a few rides over the winter but if we get the weather they are predicting not so much. Have a trip planned for January going south and riding in Arizona but a recent change at work may stop this from happening this year.

Put the new plates on to replace the paper ones. Installing the siren for the alarm tomorrow.
