What did you do to your bike today?

I bought new grips, new highway peg mounts, and engine heat guards... to dam cold to work on bike yet for me!! Plus it's all put away nice and tight in garage!!!
But that's the place where work gets done! Unfortunately I am not a garage owner, so a cover in the driveway is all I have for storage and elemental protection.

Going back to what I missed though, earlier this week I had the little spring loaded console door fixed. Yesterday I had my radio replaced to finally get that condensation behind the face taken care of. Thank you H-D warranty.

Put on a 6 1/2" Klock werks shield, rode for a hour, realized it was too tall, now I will go with the shorter 7" windsplitter even tho it doesn't work as well

Probably, but I am going to wait till spring tho and give it another try. Maybe an hour wasn't long enough of a test but it was too damn cold to go much longer

2014 FLHXS: Over the last couple of months I added the Custom Dynamics LED turn signal bulbs and the Daymaker projector LED headlight. The results of the Daymaker headlight addition by itself was good but still left me wanting more light. Yesterday I took the bike down to the dealership and had them install the auxiliary driving lights with Daymaker bulbs. I picked up the bike today and went out for a short spin a few minutes ago (dark outside). Finally I can say WOW! The Daymaker headlight and auxiliary driving lights together really light up the world plus I feel satisfied that other drivers see me during the day. The whole package cost around $1700 with the dealership installing the auxiliary driving lights and I installed the Daymaker headlight and custom dynamics turn signal LED light bulbs. The on/off switch for the auxiliary driving lights was installed on one of the blanks on the inner fairing. The BCM did require a flash in order to make the aux lights work while the headlight was on bright. Additionally, the BCM did require a flash to make the Aux driving light indicator on the tachometer work with the aux driving lights turned on. A $4l+ load of money but now I can see and be seen!

I guess this is the place where people will appreciate what we've done to our bikes..lol..just got through painting my front turn signal brackets black and also the rear light bar..I like chrome but in moderation, also put on some PM grips since the stock ones were uncomfortable.

Yea, I am not much on HD stock grips either. I have used the Kuryakyn Iso Grips on my last three bikes. To each his own but they work for me.

Yes put lots of time in on the bike today. Thanks again Spazz everything works good now. Spent over 12 hours taking our time and doing it right. The new speakers and amp sound amazing can hear it at 75 mph t below the half mark. Pretty sad the speaker we took out were made in China.

165krc fit right in?

Well... not exactly.... They were upfront and honest when I talked to them. The KRC's are mounted INSIDE the speaker pods.. not as the factory. Slight mods are made... clearances have to be trimmed to accommodate the internal configuration. The mods only take about 15-30 minutes tops.

1. Flush the mounting posts
2. clearance the rib supports ( 2 to 3 ) to clear the basket
3. Clearance the outer shell for basket in (1) area on the left speaker pod and (2) on the right.

I did it with a Dremel and small cutoff wheel. It was really easy.

I will post up a video link in a few... I took it after the pods were done for a better visual.
