What did you do to your bike today?

Just playing around with color and the flame idea I have for my bike. I thru this together real quick today to see how my idea will look. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1426719986.602755.jpgthis is with satin clear on it.

Finally took pic of the RC Components true dual ceramic coated heads pipes put on last week.

I have never been a fan of red bikes or cars, and I had a red FLHR years ago.
But that color looks great on that bike.

I tried to get a Dyno pull to see what sort of gains the stage 4 netted me. Bike runs awesome- amazing- I'm just curious what the dyno would say about it.
Anyway, the service guy started telling me about how my current tune is just for break-in and that I should have them do a full, custom tune in order to prevent "mechanical failure." My bike is fine; I did all the work at delivery and completely under warranty. However, whenever I hear someone give me a hard sell on something I really don't want or need, I've learned to just walk away. When I told the guy I would call them back another time, he tried to tell me that they book up and I might not be able to get a future appointment.... Really? If I don't schedule a full tune right this minute, you'll never, ever be able to put my bike on the machine? Alright, I've heard enough from you. I've heard very positive things about this dealership and their tuner, but today's phone call was a huge letdown.
So, I ate a quick lunch and enjoyed the weather with a great ride.

Nothing extremely exciting but yesterday I added chrome saddlebag guards, adjustable rider backrest and chrome HD slotted fairing trim.

The bike stayed in the garage. Because I was dealing with the new Land Yacht all day.

Thanks to those who recommended the Equalizer hitch system. That setup is a beast and will be a blessing going down the road. It's not a toy hauler but it will serve its purpose.

Yes, the old fashion circus hitch....a PITA but once you have it dialed in, they are worth their weight in gold.
A little advice if you haven't thought of it; set and mark your settings both dry-potable and greywater, empty and full. It may not make a difference if the manufacturer has them balanced, but you hate to find out on the interstate....

Thanks. This is our second trailer and always hauled as light as possible. So the tanks are always empty when going down the road. The wife wants to Boon dock but we have to purchase the generators for that.

Sorry to take the focus off the bikes. We now return you to regularly scheduled program.
