Sorry I missed that.... a few of us were supposed to go, but weather took a dump.... just like now... raining really good at the moment...

Think I'll go tinker around with some polish... Got nothin but time today. Just picked up my last speaker grille for my lids... only a matter of time to order up my system... end of the month.

Thanks... did a full hand polish this afternoon... came out great!

Your making me feel guilty Spazz haven't done a lot but ride when I can.

What "polish" did you use or did you use the spray??

I started getting some angel-hair swirls in the paint... being vivid black, you can expect to see it more than other colors.

After a trip on the web and a view pages of reading and some reviews, I decided to try Meguiars SwirlX polish. I love Meguiars Professional series and have been using it since the early 90's, this stuff caught my interest.

This did and does a really nice job of removing the fine scratches and leaves the paint nice and clean for a wax and glaze. It's not just a rub on and rub off application... you work the paint with a bit of pressure ( not like a compound though ).

I plan on getting a Porter-Cable 7424XP DA polisher with an assortment of backing plates and Lakeside pads to detail the bike, car and trucks. I will be using a 3" setup on the bike when I get it.

After years of working at a dealership and doing almost every job there. I still hate cleaning a motorcycle. :D

Spazz- I haven't seen that before, I'll have to get some and try it on my black guitar.
