For more great info from someone who has done a few bar installs, check out some of Spazz's posts. He is also usually very open to helping others and is a Mod here. You may need wire extensions and maybe longer clutch cable or brake line. Mine is a '13, so there is a little difference, but not much. If you are doing it yourself, take a lot of pics before, during and after for reference in case something comes up. A service manual is a huge help if you don't all ready have one. Go slow, easy, no rushing and it is very do-able. I can tell you that I bought the CVO tbw twist grip assembly because it comes with a longer harness and eliminates the connector in the handlebars. I also had to file the notches in the bars that it fits into. Check the fit before. Internal wiring of the bars takes finesse. Lube the cables, push/pull a little at a time and feed a puller string through the bar to attach to the harness to aid in feeding.
