Has anyone put the Wild Ones 577's on their Street Glide yet? Im thinking about putting these on my bike and was hoping to see some pictures and feedback about the bars.
Thanks:cool:

Thanks for the reply buckshot85. I'm just under 5' 10" and both of my seats are lower then stock. I'm thinking that the 577's (12.5") would be perfect. They are a little wider then I hoped for but they have decent pullback. Also, I'm pretty sure that I could still utilize my stock mirrors.
The old elbows just can't take the downward pressure from the stock bars anymore, gotta make a change.

Thanks for the feedback on the width, that's a non-issue then.
Did you pull yours back or are they in the full forward position?
I'm thinking for comfort they should come back a little.

Do you find yourself in a forward leaning position with your bars or are you in a straight up riding position?

Not at all. I can slouch way back or sit up. I had the same concerns as you. Wasn't sure how the bars would feel going down the slab for 3 hours. Sitting on a bike with similar bars helped, but, in reality, you just don't know til you ride the damn thing. Like I said earlier, I could have easily gone with the 577s and been good. You being 2" taller and more than likely with a longer wing span will be just fine, I'm sure. Hell, I know guys that are shorter then me and have 16s. I feel like I have a lot more control of the scooter also.

Buckshot85, Thank you for all your input, I greatly appreciate it. It's just good to hear from someone who is of a similar size and understands my concerns. When you finally pull the trigger on new handlebars, ideally, you only want to buy once. Rideo on!

For more great info from someone who has done a few bar installs, check out some of Spazz's posts. He is also usually very open to helping others and is a Mod here. You may need wire extensions and maybe longer clutch cable or brake line. Mine is a '13, so there is a little difference, but not much. If you are doing it yourself, take a lot of pics before, during and after for reference in case something comes up. A service manual is a huge help if you don't all ready have one. Go slow, easy, no rushing and it is very do-able. I can tell you that I bought the CVO tbw twist grip assembly because it comes with a longer harness and eliminates the connector in the handlebars. I also had to file the notches in the bars that it fits into. Check the fit before. Internal wiring of the bars takes finesse. Lube the cables, push/pull a little at a time and feed a puller string through the bar to attach to the harness to aid in feeding.

Most likely. The cvo twist grip sensor comes prewired for those, provided the 14s are the same as 13s. Spazz may be more definitive on this.
