Thanks guys.. I was really surprised that the install went smooth... getting the connectors around the top bend was the hardest part though. I can say that taking your time and having the patience and finesse is KEY to the install. I went with 8" NAMZ extensions instead of 4" just to be safe... the extra 4" made a difference in re-connection... no re-route and painless.

I can say for SURE... you CAN'T go over 12" bars with stock wiring... the TBW is plenty long enough for up to 16" bars, but the stock wiring on the hand controls BARELY come thru the bars on 12's.

BTW... the 12" Yaffe bars I have are NOT for 2014's... they are NOT relieved for the hyd clutch and work just fine... don't get SUCKED INTO the belief that you need the bar relief for the clutch on the 14's... they clears just fine.

The pull-back is a bit less than I thought... gonna ride tomorrow and see if I need to adjust a bit... wrist angle is PERFECT! Being 5'7" ... the mirrors are visible and don't see an issue with my arms obstructing the view.

Spazz- I saw them first on FB. I like but I have a question; Hows the mirror viewing now?

Is like to know how much more wind hits your hands I hate wearing gloves.

Mirrors are fine... takes a bit to get used to though... looking under your arm. They are not 100% unobstructed, but very doable for me

I will let you know .. going on a Sunday ride to Virginia City tomorrow. ...

Nice job! I wish I could always practice the saying "patience is a virtue"! Have fun and I hope you enjoy the ride!

I made sure I didn't touch ANY beer til AFTER the wiring was all fed thru the bars.... then is was GAME TIME!!!!

Looks good just wondering how it feels in the corners and how much air you get on your hand now

Ok.. just got back and had to make some adjustments for comfort...

The wind is definitely on my hands with the bars all the way forward, but it was too far for me and I found myself leaning forward and pulling back on the bars on the freeway... I'm 5'7"... tje pullback on these is not as much as suspected.

From forward position.. i pulled the bars back 1.5" and adjusted the hand controls and levers to fit my positioning. This rendered my mirrors 90% useless now. I dug into my bag of saved goodies and added my old Scythe II mirrors... a great compliment of chrome to the scheme of it all.

For the pullback I needed.. 14" bars may have been a better choice to utilize the fairing mirrors, but I believe they still would have been too high for my liking and over my shoulders.

Oh... cornering seems much easier at speed for sure... much more natural... but at low speed... i do stretch out a bit... but im ok with that

I'm lovin those mirrors Spazz !. We should start thinking about our next ride before long!

Spazz. I like those mirrors too. The one I picked up would not go low enough for me to see. Could see the sky good but not the road.
