1000 lb Motorcycle lift

I stay away from anything harbor freight. The quality is just not there

a friend had one of those. it was ok for sportbikes that weigh around 400lbs, but big bikes were a bit scary, and you could tell it was stressing the hydraulic jack.

No experience with that one but hadn't seen too many good reviews on it. So I decided to spend a little more and got the J&S Jack.

I have the lift, paid just under $300 for it a few years ago. The wheel lock sucks, I replaced that right away. Is there better lifts out there yes, but for the money it does a pretty good job.

I have a Craftsman ( Black and Red ) that I got on sale for $99... It's ok...

The stability is just ok, but tends to make me leary with the front to back wobble. I even have to watch for position by a few inches if bags are on or off... no kidding.

Also... at stock height of my SGS... I have to get it off the stand a bit to slide the jack under the frame.

IF I were to purchase again.... which I will ... J&S is the way I will go...

I have had the black/red Craftsmen it's shaky now I have the Aluminum Craftsmen think I paid $108 on sale. Have to say it pretty stable, the bike rocks but never have had a problem. But Spazz is right J&S is the way to go and not cheap...
