120ST woes.... it's going in for teardown...

That is quite a break-in process Spazz. Do you recommend the same for new stock 103's?
 
Happy things turned out Spazz. I know it must have seemed like eternity but, it must have been worth the wait. Are you happy with Chesters?

What tune are you running?
Right now... the 2nd map Jamie gave me... I didn't want to run the AT map I had due to burning oil when I ran it.

The only sparatic issue is spark knock... I can't even replicate the instance to know when it happens ( getting on or off hard throttle doesn't make it happen or even light or hard rollons ) having a hard time trying to pin it down.

This method has been proven time and time again... though this is my first time doing it this way since I need to have it ready for 2000 mile trip starting next saturday.

I am confident this method works... for any motor... it's been proven to work very well.

So far so good... 430 miles on her to date...another 125 miles will go one after work tomorrow

UPDATE:

I just got back from 2400 mile trip out to the widwest.... She ran great and no issues to gripe about... well just one that I think is a timing issue, but I will look into it a bit more.

Only down 2 dots on the stick in 2400+ miles..... Im happy with that.
 
Good to hear the news after your withdrawal period of it in the shop!
 
I figure you averaged 171 miles per day???? What a great trip. Glad to hear she is purring again. Would enjoy seeing a few pictures of your trip. Do you expect the oil loss to decrease?
 
Not really... day 1,2 and 3 were 300-400 mile days... and the last 3 the same thing... not much riding in between
