Nice work hulkss. How often should you check the bearing.

Check them once to know your OK, then Harley recommends every 25,000 miles. That is also the recommended lubrication interval.

I would suggest the following simple test once a year:

1. Support the vehicle with the front tire off the ground
2. Swing the handlebars from stop-to-stop to check for smooth movement.
3. Grasp both fork legs near the axle and shake front to rear while checking for looseness or a clunking sound in the head set.
