Well now that I have had a few days of normal riding locally have been able to get a better handle on the bike. First off this is the best handling bike I have ever ridden. Power delivery is nice and smooth and powerful. I know some are dissapointed with the "harsh" ride and suspension but it seems fine to me unless I hit a pot hole straight on. I am about 180 lbs. and had the stealer put the shocks at about half way. Yes the seat needs an upgrade espescially for the passenger (thinking Reach Seat or Ultra Low). But all in all I am very happy and am pretty sure I made the right decision in not getting a RGS. Now my only major complaint is the WIND. Hopefully when my Clearview gets here it will help alot and along with the fairing wind deflectors (hopefully at 1st service) and fork fangs/Kuryakyn Triple Tree wind deflector I will be ok. Really this is the only thing I'm unhappy with. I put some Airlite soft lowers on today and they seemed to help also. Anyway happy riding to all.

2 things: I also changed to an Ultra seat and it's a major improvement. So much more comfortable. I found mine on eBay. I also went to a Clear view windshield. I forget the exact model but know it's a recurve. I went from a good amount of buffeting to almost none. Ride safe.

What he said . . . . absolutely! Between them and a nice recurved wind screen, 75% of the buffeting is gone.

Which Ultra seat? The regular or Ultra Low? I don't really need to go lower but I wouldn't mind going forward an inch or two. I do understand the regular Ultra is about an inch higher. I'm 5'7" on a good day. Thanks.
