Help??!!

I have 2010 flhx with 82k miles. RUNS GREAT!! just did 103 upgrade with 255 cam & high pressure oil pump. bout 2000 miles on rebuild. Last couple days it runs great & all the sudden check engine light comes on & power cuts out!! If i twist throttle all the way rpms only raise 300 (yes hundred). I shut it off for a few minutes ig fires up & runs great again for a few minutes. If anyone has had this happen i'd love to know how to fix it. Staying close to home or switching scooters sux!! I luv my flhx.

Could be crank position sensor, or ECM problem.

Is it showing a code ?

Welcome to the forum and not sure what this could be. Almost sounds like the ECM or the cam sensor. Not sure who if you did the work or a shop but I would take it to one. Hey Spazz looks like another close rider that's 4 or 5 of us in the area we should ride sometime soon like maybe at street vibrations?

If it's throwing a code, cross reference it. I agree with Crank senso or ECM issue though.
Another often overlooked item is a fuel injector malfunctioning when temps change.

Maybe! Welcome from Reno, NV... looks like you got a few good starting points on your issue... I wish I could add to the possible solution.

If you don't want to bring it to HD... There is a VERY knowledgeable guy that I trust in Reno.... Johnny at the Chop Shop. I am going down there today... I will hit him up with your problem and see what he says...
