Is this a good price for a SG Special?

Yep, here they still have 2,000-3,000 off the 2015s

Yes, there are some good discounts on '15 right now in some locations. Was in Tulsa last week and picked up a '15 Ultra Limited Low, two-tone option (Silver/Black) for $23,999 with a MSRP of $28,049. Savings of $4650

SGS purchased in December '14 was MSRP of $23,399

Now if my wonderful wife will let me keep both, I'll be a extremely happy man!

And if not, I'll still be happy!

I'm shopping for a new 2016 SG Special and got a price from A local HD Dealer in So Cal for $26K OTD. It's so hard to get numbers out out the door pricing from dealers. I don't want them to check my credit before giving me an OTD.

Shadow, I got my 14 SG (not S) for $22500 OTD. I'm in Hawaii where there is only one HD dealer so I was willing to pay top dollar for a bike I considered my "DreamBike". Indians and Victorys were not even on my list.

GreetSlide, that sounds like you got a tremendous deal on the Island. I would think freight costs would be sky high.

I sure did David. We were stuck at $25+ until they found out my club VP and the sales manager were good friends. Lucky me. Maybe I shouldve went for the Special.

I was talking with a sales guy at Las Vegas HD last week and he was telling me sales are really slow right now on Harley's. They had a brand new 2015 Blue Ultra Limited on the showroom floor with chrome forks, upgraded floor board Fr & Rr, hand grips, chrome controls, 4 point and Sissy bar/pad for $24,700. He said he had zero activity on it for a month now. Anyone looking for a new 2015 SG/SGS should be able to cut a really good deal if you know how to bargain!!!

Wow--that's a great price :)

I just paid $24102 out the door in Bozeman, MT for my stock vivid black 15 SGS. I'm working out of the country so they are holding it until I get home sometime in November.

Hello guys, new here. I picked up a charcoal pearl 2015 sgs last week for 21,000$. I was offered a 2016 for 500$ more but I didnt like any of the colors

I went back in and I was offered 23K + tax & lic for 2016 SG special. I countered offered 23K OTD. They said it couldn't be done & nobody would sell it for that price in the Los Angeles / Orange County area. I thanked thanked them and walked. I'm still searching.

Was that at HB??

I bought my 2015 SGS for $22,700 out the door tax, title all fees including shipping it from Florida to my home in Michigan. Bought it on July 2nd. Vivid Black. I did not spring for extra warranty. I felt it was good since the dealers in Michigan wouldn't budge from msrp and wanted as much for used bikes with 8,000 miles. I didn't have the time to ride back for those wondering. :)

That sounds like a great deal. Good job

I was ready to get a used bike, but how could I pass it up. Best souvenir ever.

Never heard of Fork Fangs, I looked up where they attach are they worth it. I have the wind deflectors on the fairing.

Lower fork deflectors, known as fork fangs in HD world due to their shape I would guess.

Yes, lower deflector/fork fangs make a huge difference if you have head wind issues and follow the air streams doing it. You'll notice the airflow is up and over the tank.

Not always the greatest looking, but very effective.

Just picked up a new sgs vivid black for just over 23250 otd. Hope that's a good price.

Just picked up a Red SGS in San Diego for 23065 otd. I had two dealers that kept lowering the price. The best deal I had was 23000 but the dealer didn't have the bike in stock and couldn't work a trade with another dealer.

Picked up my 16 SG Special for $23,500 OTD, including the Platinum service plan. It's vivid black.. but still. Thought that was a good deal

I just bought a 2016 street glide cvo in ca for 38,500 OTD. White amethyst with purple lic flames. I thought that was a good deal. Most dealers locally didn't want to deal on this bike. Gave me the song and dance about how special the bike was and that no dealer would ever discount them. I proved that to be complete BS!
