I haven't done anything yet... just getting all ducks in a row before I pull the trigger... I have been really taking this slow as not to jump into something I won't be happy with

I feel the same, I'm just doing Amp and fairing speakers. But I'm not sure which system, I'll be talking to you as you progress for Advice and moral support.

Well I would just sit back and watch what happens then that's what I'm doing

Yeah, +1 here. If it can be done right, Spazz will figure it out!

Spazz, if you do decide to pull the trigger your going to love it. Since you will be pulling the speaker pods out you might as well install some custom speaker grillz. Benji with legacy baggers will help, I think you already have his inserts on your bike.

I hear you. That is why him and I are working on something new for my bike. Not sure if you know, but the new speakers will need to be mounted inside of the pod, for the most part it fits right in, but there is a couple of areas of the pod that needs to be cut.

hertz speakers.jpgtweeters II.jpgtweeters.jpg The rain will not hurt the Hertz. The JL amp is what I would go with. I would go with a bigger amp Like the JL 600/4. The more power the better It will sound. This is why the JL 600/4 you can run 6 speakers and the amp will only see 4 ohms.

Just off the phone with Peter from Soundz Customz and I think I will be going that way also real soon. You don't have to drill the holes in the pods like the J&M speakers suggest. Different magnets on the speakers and they don't build as much heat to speak of as J&M. Better get ready Spazz we have to find a free weekend in the next month or so LOL. Are they capable of doing the flash at the Reno dealership???

Just the fairing in the stage 4. Peter is a talker I will give him that. Better plan on a long conversation when you call. If I could hit an event they were at its a free install. They are not sure if they are coming to Arizona bike week but probably Laughlin run for sure.
