Stereo question

I have a 23 street glide special with the boom audio and I just installed an amp and speakers. I’m wondering where everyone put a relay in at so the amp does not make a popping noise upon start up. I did not use the Rockford set up from Harley and just wired everything with a kit, but however, it did not come with a relay to fix this issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Good question. I wired mine in without a relay too, and it doesn't pop on start up. I have it with a remote turn on wire to the accessories socket on the right side near the GPS antenna.

Mine was wired exactly the same. I talked to the manufacturer and they said that it could possibly be issue with the battery, not having enough voltage or needing a delay module. So weird some have issues and some don’t.
