What did you do to your bike today?

Yeah little easy addition the stock air filter housing has a pin hole in the bottom of it on the engine side so just ran the wire with a couple of quick disconnect plugs incase housing has to be removed for any service.

Look into a product called plasti-dip

I have used it a bunch. I did the hood on my truck, the rocker panels on my car and all my wheels too. Very durable product. Google it and youtube it to learn how to apply the product. The nice thing about it is if you dont like it, peel it off, no damage.

Thanks. The seat is the hd Zeplin it has a pump on both the rider and passenger seats really comfortable.

I tried to put the K led light ring on my 14 but wiring completely changed. Directions are for 13 and under. Returning ring to dealer until 14
 
Added the chrome windshield strip. Dresses up the front a little LED mirror covers next.

Azdave, I did the LED Mirror covers this week. Let me say this: the directions suck! one mirror has a blk and a red wire. The other has blue, white and blk wires. You can't simply load the Duetch connectors matching color to harness color, the lug/terminals are very fragile so you can't move them around too often. HD doesn't put the connectors on for you because you have to drill the inner fairing to run the open wiring thru before adding the connectors. I also ruined my lower fairing skirt ($125) by allowing the headlight bulb to burn it when testing the LED light by turning on the ignition.
Tip: once you remove the 7 screws that hold on the outer fairing you have to disconnect the hi and low beam headlight bulbs. Not knowing that you can just compress each of their connectors from the bulb housing (leaving the bulb in the headlight) I did the twist unlock of the whole bulb/connector which had the bulbs coming on each time I turned on the ignition to test my mirror connections.
Note: each mirror is side specific but the supplied Y connector harness are identical. Good luck!

Need to do my 1,000 mile check up. May have them install. I tried the LED headlight ring and that was a nightmare until I found out it was for a 13. Directions for all this stuff us awful. Translating Chinese to English. Thanks for the tips though in case I decide to give it a shot
 
Now that I've done it once I could do it next time in about 45 minutes. Shame we don't live closer.
 
I installed the Accel Stealth super coils on my 13 SG. Simple took about a half hour and rather surprisingly, a noticeable difference. Starts quicker, throttle seems slightly snappier. I will see how things go after a decent ride.

1/21/14 Update: REMOVED the chrome LED mirror covers today and threw them in the trashcan. Not only were the directions for wiring really poor but the covers did not fit well and impeded the outward adjustment of the mirrors for safe viewing. Really just a bad experience (& $125) all the way around. just sayin . . . . .
 
I wish I had a dollar for every part I bought and ended up not using. I guess we should learn to put stuff on ebay.
 
Heh heh, This is only the 2nd "bad" part I've bought. The other were those Chrome key locking quick release thingys for your 4 point system. I'm sure there must be more . . . . .
 
Should we count all the perfectly good stock parts we bought and then replaced with something "better"? I got a big pile of 'em.
 
Did you use American Express to buy them. Going to return mine. Hope dealer takes them back
