What did you do to your bike today?

I went and picked my bike up from the Harley shop, temp was 30degs out, rode it home, was only 7 miles. They got it together after my wreck in October, (102 days ago) the upgrades were Chrome Lower Fork Slides, Lighted Hand Control Switches & Color Matched Inter Fairing. Cost of repair was over $15,000. Was nice to ride it again.

Thanks. hulkss

I had an encounter with a deer in 1988 when I was going to Sturgis, just clipped the back legs and kept the bike up. I have ridden by many deer since and none of them have run out in front of me. I look at that me & the deer just happen to try to occupy the same piece of real estate that day, I went to the Hospital and the deer ended up being put down by the Police Officer that showed up on the scene. If you want a deer deterrent device on your bike then it is up to the individual. I don't think that they make any difference myself.

I always figured a deer could hear the typical Harley coming from a mile away. I don't think a little whistle will add much deterrent effect.

Yes I agree, most of the whistles that I seen on bikes were plugged up with bugs anyway

Installed chrome cooler cover, starter cover, and headlight bezel w/brow on my 13 SG and chrome water pump cover, head light bezel w/brow, 3 pouch rig at screen and taller screen on my 14 Ultra Limited.

So, this is NOT a pic of my FLHXS but does show the Windsplitter '7 and fairing lowers I added to arrest buffeting.

What made your decision on the windsplitter vs klockwerks?

I tried a klockwerks and hated the distortion while having to look thru the shield at up close things.

In answer to you question on the windsplitter;
I tried the 10 inch first and found myself getting vertigo looking thru the fold near the top of the shield. I then swapped it for the '7 Windsplitter and it was perfect for me as I look over it but it still keeps the wind off my face and helmet.

Decision for me was the demo system for windshields my dealer had in-house and inventory in stock for immediate gratification.

How tall are you mojo? Seat stock? Thanks for all the info.
