When alarm arms, no audible warning?

my missus has a 2019 FXBB and the moment her bike is armed it chirp chirps and flashes

when my 2017 FLHXS arms, I just see turn signals flash and no chirp

is this something the previous owner may have turned off?
can I turn it on somewhere in the settings?

It should flash lights from factory setup. IF you want siren and chirp there are 2 options:
1-Buy the alarm module from dealer (appx $100)
2-Buy a $7 Piezo alarm module (got mine at radio shack).
It does the very same thing except does not have a battery backup inside.
It's a 2 wire hookup inside the left side panel.

Really? doesn’t come with siren as standard?!

I read another great post on how to fit the cheaper option so might go that route if it bugs me enough

You know Harley- They option everything. I've been doing the Piezo module on my last four bikes and it works well and is cheap and easy to install.

Turns out the previous owner had disabled the audible chirp on my 2017 Special
