Will a 200 tire fit???

Wondering if anyone has ever used a slightly wider tire on the rear. Stock uses a 180. I would like to use a 200 for a better contact patch! I had a Honda VTX that came stock with a 180, and there was just enough room to fit the 200. Anyone try this????

I do not believe it will fit. Check the clearance to the belt and belt guard.

I will assume by now you have your answer, BUT if not, I had a 2009 and I did have a 200mm tire installed on mine but it was on a custom 18" wheel. I also have a friend who has one on his 2013 Road Glide. Mine was dealer installed but they never said they had to do anything special to it to get it to fit, like belt or wheel spacing/spacers. I do have a 2020 now and I haven't seen anyone doing it to this year. I did hear that some of the tire manufacturers now frown upon installing a 200mm tire on a touring bike, maybe due to how the extra weight of a touring bike effects the tire due to wear over time.
