What did you do to, or on your streetglide today?

Rode 180 miles today. Stopped at the dealer and picked up the aux light kit. Already have my eagle lights gen 3 headlight installed and the passing lamps are on my bench. Mustang sport touring seat is also on the way.

I forgot to get the fairing mirror plugs again! Argh. That's like my 4th stop at the dealer without getting the damn plugs.

Got the fender on! I had to take the kids home so I stopped there. Hopefully I will finish up tomorrow.

Too cold to go to the garage. I'm used to Hawaii weather dammit!

She's complete! For now... Probably going to get a 10" LRS windshield, this Mustang seat put me a little higher than I expected it's a narrower seat though and even in my tennis shoes I didn't need to scoot forward at all to flat foot. Man that thing needs breaking in!

Friday me and the ol lady loaded up the 2014 SG, with cold gear on, and left Riverside Ca, and rode up to San Francisco. We left at about 1am. Even with the cold gear on, my poor little wife was freezing through the grapevine, and through Gilroy and their heavy fog. We made it to Frisco in about 6hrs 45mins. What made this trip crazy, we got in at 745am or so, and left at 11am, in pouring rain. This was our longest trip ever on a motorcycle. So yes a turnaround trip that netted 940 miles. She was a trooper. Left at 1am Friday, back home 730pm Friday night.

That sounds like a good ride! I would say your old lady is definitely a rider-rider. Do you have a tour pack, or passenger backrest and a comfortable seat on there for her?

She has a backrest, but hated the stock seat, so before I bought an expensive replacement, the local HD dealership sold me something I believe called an air hog. It’s a meshed bag with an air bladder you fill up and place on the seat. She loved it. Before, riding to San Diego was a pain. No way she made it without the air bladder thingy lol. I have the box in garage I’ll post the real name lol

Good times! Those are the kind of rides I love to take. If you ever put a tour pack on there, your wife will really want to roll. Ask me how I know. LOL

I can imagine....lol

Her only complaint was lower the foot pegs, and she’d prefer floorboards, and that it was cold.

Ima look into that king tourpak
