2016 Model information

Geesh. I just got my '14 SGS last summer. Time for the 16's already? Geesh!

A buddy of mine is going to be upset if this is true. He just finishing picking up his 15 CVO Streetglide 3 weeks ago. His last bike had the 120R in it.

Yep, unless they made big progress on getting a twin cooled 120 through the EPA, having a CVO 120 would mean going back to air cooled CVOs.
Worst case is that the 120 is just a street legal catalog option- put it in at delivery and it is part of your warranty.

California Air Resource board is a good source for what is coming. Based on the orders filed there, several touring models will be available with a 120 (check the last page). The first link goes to the paperwork for what appears to be the new 120. CC are 1962-

This shows the tech specs for the 2014 Touring CVOs for comparison. (1802 cc):

If you want info a little more reliable than your friend's brother's pool boy, check back with the ARB. http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onroad/cert/cert.php#6

I would think it would rival the CVO price, but that might create too much product saturation at a peak price point...
I am curious to see how Harley rolls this out as far as feature trade-offs and price.

That is interesting but the dates on that cvo paperwork show August 15 2014. So that is from last year?

Good catch- the only thing posted for Harley this year so far are the touring bikes available with the 120.

Also- that sheet is for 2015 model year only- so, will we see a 120 streetglide in a showroom or on the Harley site soon?
Many other brands have their 2016 model year reports up already, but there isn't a single thing list yet for 2016 Harleys.

That's because they're in "sell what you got (2015's) for the high price as soon as possible mode".
What's left over when the August 2016 presentation comes will be great bargains and more discounting.

Why would H-D bypass the 110 in the regular model line-up? I can see going to 120s for the CVO although it seems early to me. JMHO.
