From ________ to Streetglide?

Coming from a 2013 Yamaha Stryker to a 2017 Street Glide Special...

It almost didn't happen. Test road a 2015 Street Glide, road it twice and absolutely hated it. Didn't like the way it road, vibrated, handled, shifted... I liked nothing about that bike.....

I was a weekend away from buying a 2016 kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero... I road the Vaquero twice also, back to back after riding the 2015 Street Glide. It was all but a done deal....

At the last minute my buddy, a life long Harley rider urged me to ride the new Milwaukee 8.

This coincidentally after he had just purchased a 2017 Road Glide Special...

I test road a 17 Street Glide Special all the way home, with the biggest, stupidest, smile on my face....

Absolutely No Regrets....

Did everyone on here choose the Streetglide from other Harleys or did anyone come from metrics? I am looking at a SG or RG and I ride a Vstar1300. What should I expect that would be different from my current ride? I definitely am looking forward to 6th gear and the aftermarket world! I love to customize and my Yamaha doesn't have anything special unless I want a to look like a total Harley knock off.

Started riding a year and a half ago on 2015 HD Street 750. Traded it in on a 2016 HD Switchback. Had an issue with the switchback, and traded it in on a 2016 Street Glide and i couldn't be happier. Love this bike.

I came from a Victory Kingpin to the Street Glide. Loved the Kingpin, but wanted a bigger touring type bagger. Most of my friends ride Harleys so I was already very familiar with the Street Glides.
