Call me cheap but I just bought a used Truck-lite for half the price and so far I like it much better than stock. There are some good deals out there on some used lights as folks upgrade to the latest. I don't think the higher price warrants being able to see 100 feet further down the road...heck I can't see that far during the day anyway...

Glad you got something that's working for ya. Me, I cants see worth a darn anytime so I need all the help I can get.

Looking for some clear answers and haven't been able to find any after too many hours of reading. Just ordered the Jw speakers evolution 2 LED headlight for my 06 SG and can't find anyone to tell me what extra parts will be needed for the install. Just from photos of the light I'm thinking my stock wiring will be good (unlike the 14's and 15's that seem to require an older style harness). The stock mounting ring is another story as it does not look like it will support the new light. Anybody out there put one of these lights on an older Gen. SG?

I finally installed my Evo 2 yesterday and rode home last night. What a difference in brightness.

I'm not sure I love the beam pattern on turns, but straightaways are awesome. The highbeam is great on turns and straightaways! I might need to get the driving lights as well....TBD

I adjusted mine light up and while riding in Arizona nobody wanted to ride in front of me even the land shark guy at night. Said they could see a whole lot better following me. Pretty happy with that result

Just saw one on Amazon for $299.

Must be the same seller i ordered from yesterday $299 plus $6 shipping I think it was.
Just have to stop by a local HD for the plug/adapter.

I'll add myself to this thread. I went LED all-around my bike, got the black JW Evo2 headlight which complements the Custom Dynamics smoked LED turn signals perfectly (and looks absolutely sinister on a dark red bike)

Everyone talked me into it.. I just pulled the trigger on the JW Speaker 8700 Evolution 2 headlight. I will send back the HID kit that I was getting ready to install! Thank you everyone for the positive reviews and information.

I had to adjust mine up a bit from the stock headlight assembly. So far so good; no one has flashed brights at me at night.

I must say that after reading this and looking into it, I also pulled the trigger on one. Shipped today found it on AMAZON $272.00 plus shipping.
