V&H Fuelpak FP3

Most holders will fit all phons... the Note4 is sustantially larger... the normal size ram mount does not fit my phone... so I have to assume same goes for your mount as well, but I will see if I can find one to test... thanks

So..........Back to the FP3 discussion.

Just to update, I installed the FP3 just a couple of weeks ago and ran it with one tank of gas with just the factory configuration (Dresser Duals, Monster Ovals & V&H A/C) when in reality I have the SE AC and Street Cannons, but this was the closest "Canned" program available. And I have to say that it did wake up the bike but last week I started an auto tune and ran the bike pretty hard for about 100 miles and was pretty happy to see that something like 50 cels had turned green so I though what the hell I'll "Apply" these, which for those of you that don't know is not the same as hitting "Finish" as my tuner is still learning but has the benefit of the cells that it has already learned.

Man what a difference this morning, I can't believe how much smoother it goes through the power band and the "De-Cel Popping" is all but gone......damn this thing is worth every penny if you ask me!!!

It's great to see all these post! I ordered my fp3 the other day from fuel moto and the wife says it was at the door 4 days later..."I'm stuck at work being in the middle of the ocean out a dampner on scooter riding" however looks like I made the right choice. First thing I'm doing when I get home it gutting the cat installing the k&n intake and screaming eagle slipons. Along with other parts but I'm ready excited about these!

I've not seen anything negative on this product so far so it must be a pretty good product.

When I changed my exhaust to the power duals I started another autotune session, I went through a full tank of gas and The bike runs great. My question to everyone.....is anyone having any decel popping right at 2K rpms and under? when downshifting? the bike runs great, just wondering if I should try to tune on it some more. its not a real loud pop, more like a quick echo and usually does it 3 times really fast.

I reduced my decal pop substantially with the autotune... but I still get some at times.

One often overlooked cause for decel popping is loose exhaust head bolts which allows oxygen to mix with hot unburned fuel vapor. When I had my Road King they loosened up occasionally. Since I got the SGS, I added another 12 point nut onto the studs and no more loosening or popping for my Dyno tuned engine.

Same exhaust here (with Street Cannons) and when I first put the pipes on I had this problem exactly. After one tank autotune it has all but gone away. My tankful however was more like a dyno session with 4, 30 mile rides with 3rd, 4th and 5th (well 3rd and 4th anyhow) run multiple times to 5500 - 5800 RPM's, never hit the rev limiter but I did see 100 a couple of times on the speedo:rolleyes:

I think it will eventually go away but you're gonna have to run it pretty hard I think to get the auto-tune to get you there.....I'd also torque the head bolts one more time just to be safe.....Good luck!!

Can someone please post a pic to show how and where their FP3 is secured behind the side cover when auto tuning?

I jut have it tucked up behind the wire harness in there... no need to permanently secure it.... I will take a pic a bit later.... 45 degrees in the garage right now... lol... and I still need coffee at 4:50am

+1 for tucking. I just did my first apply yesterday after a 200 mile run of autotune. Had a pretty wide band of green. Dropped my idle down to about 1000 and sounds like a carbed bike. Going to keep going with it. Love this thing!

+1 on the zip tie

Finally got time to put on my FP3 and SE Stg1 AC today and do a flash, WOW! woke the bike up...

The more I ride with the autotune running, and then when I hit apply, this little computer impresses me more and more.
