V&H Fuelpak FP3

I noticed it right away but chose not to tease too much thinking he probably rolled his speedometer back ! lol

Nah, I don't mind the teasing. I enjoy chatting with you guys. And FYI we are at a whopping 400 miles now!!!!!!

Spazz he's trying to make me feel bad for teasing him, not going to happen lol I babied mine until the first service just because I didn't want to hurt it but you just never know until you try. Will be doing my first auto tune on my Phoenix trip while running around the city and trips through the country. Hopefully this works out for me so we shall see soon.
Take a screen shot of your tables when you finish your autotune, I'm curious what everyone else's tables look like, ride safe and enjoy your trip TomA

I found this one ... it old... but it still shows my map with a very good percentage of populated green

I may have gotten a few more blocks to populate after this... but never 100%

I don't have one but I would definitely consider this for my next scoot.

Is there some sort of purchase one could make from V&H to unlock the FP3 to install on another bike or is it married to the bike originally installed on? I ask because I'm going a different route on my SG and I would love to pay it forward to someone in need

Hey I'm trying to hook up my fuelpak system. Can someone please help me with instructions on how to disconnect my factory wiring harness from the ecu.

First off... WELCOME....

Second... What year and model?

Third... FP3 or FuelPak ( what model tuner )

image.jpgHey thanks for the welcome
So.... I have a 2008 street glide
I have the ecu and everything hooked up to the fuelpak system. I plugged the numbers in for my specific bike. But when I twist the throttle it is not responding.
Only thing I'm thinking it could be is the exhaust input. I'm not to sure the exact name of the exhaust on my bike I just know there slip ons. So that's what I put into the system to look up my program. Any help ???

Gonzales I spoke with them(being that I don't know what kind of slip ons were on my iron when I purchased it) I need to go back and get the measurements of my exhaust and see if it has a baffle in it or not. Then the tech asked me to check if it has a baffle in it or not. If so pull the baffle out and tell him the particulars about it so that he can try to narrow it down to which specific map I need. Sounds like a big headache to me .... Lol

Time to play as I got my FP3 Thursday and my V&H Twin Slash slipons Friday. I went through the thread again and didn't see any posts of where you guys are permanently mounting the FP3 for autotune and gauge display. Can anyone post pics of their mounting? Thanks in advance

Guess this thread is dead.

Thanks to Direct Cycle Parts for the deal on the FP3
Thanks to Horny Toad HD for the deal on HD parts

not dead at all.... you best bet for a phone mount is a ram mount.... I haven't gotten one yet, but on the list. I need a PHABLET mount for my NOTE4.. the normal ram mount is too small for mine plus I have an Otterbox Defender case which makes it even bigger.. lol

I monitored my tables between rides.. then concentrated on those blocks that needed attention by RPM range and TPS% ( which can be trick)

I have been using" iBOLT xProDock Active Car Dock/Holder/Mount for Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, Note 2 & Note 3 with aux-out to car-speakers. Works with ALL Cases and extended Batteries." I think I paid $35 for it has a nice app that sends phone calls to voice mail and a auto respond for a custom text message reply, video capture while riding. I personal dont care for the handlebar mount types. I have had zero issues with maintaining suction to the wind screen, I use a Note 4 with a pelican hardcase. you could mount to windscreen, left side faux storage cover or tank. It is compatable with other RAM mount options for a more permanent mount option. It does get a little shaky through different rpm ranges but it settles after you reach cruise speed.
