What did you do to, or on your streetglide today?

BS1.jpgBS2.jpgAdded some Arlen Ness highway pegs and shifter peg. I like the shifter peg because it's about 3/4" longer and I don't seem to be hunting for it as much.
Also having a little trouble getting my solo rack installed. I put the 4point on and just got the rack yesterday but it wants to hit the right shock and doesn't want to seat.
I did turn the shock around because mine was mounted upside down but it still wants to hit. I was thinking a small 1/8"-3/16" spacer between the shock bushing and mounting boss
would give me the clearance I need. Anyone else have this issue. This is my first experience with any HD detachable so I'm not sure if it could be user error.

FB,
Pegs and shifter peg are a Nice continuation of the stealth look! I like the extended shifter peg and have added a spacer to mine to promote the same effect

Works well!

As far as the shock interference, I think I might grind the rack to fit and spray it with clear coat to prevent rust. Nobody will see!

This is under the heading "what did you do to your SG today"

Answer is:

Rode the Beech like I stold her! No mercy, illegal, not for sale, sell your children, divorce your wife, write bad checks, naughty, nasty, down and dirty, hard core, old school, biking! Period!

There is info out on flipping that shock. Some were installed upside down from the factory.

I just got back from a 4 day 1800 mile trip with my son. We didn't hit any rain but the smoke here in the northwest from all of the forest fires is bad. Both street glides ran great. We went to Glacier NP then across Bearthooth Pass then thru Yellowstone NP then down US 12 to home.
Here is a picture of US 12 near the Idaho Montana border.

Installed extended brake pedal from Softbrake. Long overdo.

When I started this thread, I didn't expect to see nearly as many postings as it has - but I love and it and have to say some people are doing some really cool stuff to their bikes. I figure maybe I should post my additives so far...
Stretched bags and rear fender - 4.5 down and 9 back
Stretched side panels
Stretched tank
Buttcrack seat
PM foot controls (rear brake and shifter)
Bad Dad shift linkage
Carl Brouhard floorboards - both sets
J&M tunes
16 inch chubby bars
BMF (LMF) pipes
PM air intake
And of course other small things here and there...plus a custom John Deer blitz black paint job by yours truly - to be replaced sometime soon with something crazy.
In the near future is air suspension, new forks, different fairing, bigger front wheel of course and anything else I can find that I MUST have...

When I started this thread,
OK, I'm an idiot - this isn't the thread I started. I started one asking what the best mod was people have done to their bike...
Same idea, but wrong post! Sorry to the correct thread starter upper person!
